1.0 The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) wishes to inform candidates,
teachers, parents/guardians, stakeholders and the general public that the 2015
KCPE Examination results will be released on Wednesday 30th December 2015 by
the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Dr Fred
Okeng’o Matiang’i at Mitihani House Caledonia off Denis Pritt Road starting from
2.0 In preparation for the release of the Examination results, candidates, principals
and parents/guardians are advised as follows:-
2.1 To access the 2015 KCPE Examination results, send the candidate’s index
number through a short message service (sms) text to 22252 immediately after the
release by the Cabinet Secretary.
2.2 Upon receipt of the Examination results, thoroughly scrutinize the results for
correctness and ensure accuracy of, the names, index number, and gender; school
name and code; and individual subjects. Any discrepancy noted on the
Examination results should be communicated to KNEC as a query within one
month (30 working days) from the date of release of the examination results.
2.3 Candidates with withheld/pended results will receive a letter through the
respective Head Teacher explaining why the examination results have been
