Narok County Public Service board is empowered under Sec 59 of the County Government Act to amongst others function to establish and abolish offices in the county.
It also exercises disciplinary control over and above removal of persons holding or acting in county offices.
The board is also legally required to promote in the county public service the values and principles and ideally it is the one responsible to recommend to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, on behalf of the Narok County government, on the remuneration, pensions and gratuities for the county employees.
