A man has been arraigned before a Narok court today charged with escaping custody.
Paul Kunene Buchu on July 3rd this year escaped the custody which he had been charged for the offence of malicious damage to property and creating disturbance in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace.
He was re-arrested on July 4th 2015 at Enairagie Enkare trading center and charged with another offence of being in possession of 500gms of cannabis sativa with a street worth of Ksh 500.
The accused denied the allegations and was given a bond of ksh50, 000 with similar surelity and cash bail of Ksh 20,000.
The case is set to be heard on October 1st 2015.
The accused was reminded of his right to appeal within 30 days.
