A resident of Narok county wants the Senate to examine the records of transaction between the Mara Triangle Conservancy and the county government.
In a petition filed to the Senate yesterday, Joseph ole Karia has demanded that the Auditor General undertakes an audit of all transactions in furtherance of the agreement and on account of all park entry fees to the Triangle.
Speaker Ekwe Ethuro committed the petition to the Committee on Finance to investigate and table a report in two months.
He says that county government and the Kenya Airports Parking Services Company are engaging in suspicious financial transactions, which have cost the county millions of shillings
