Kenya has won the bid to host next year’s Africa Travel Association (ATA) World Congress, Tourism Secretary Phylis Kandie has said.
The country has also won bids to host the World Public Relations Forum and the Skal International congress in 2015. Coming as the tourism sector struggles to shake off an insecurity-related slump, the meetings are expected to offer hoteliers and other stakeholders some respite from the low numbers.
